AVS Romer was founded in 1970 by engineer J.K. Römer specializes in the production of packaging machines, laser systems for packaging processing, equipment for food production. The company has two production sites in Germany with approximately 350 employees, including 20 apprentices. The total production area for production, storage and administration is 37,000 m². Throughout its history, the company has created more than 6,300 different items of its own production, all certified by ISO - quality and environmental management.
In 2011, the Joachim Christian Römer Foundation was formed, which deals with the vocational education of engineers and professions in related technical fields in collaboration with colleges and universities. Engineering science and research is also supported by the Foundation, provided that it is practical and close to the Foundation's objectives.
